Scottrade Mobile Trading App Released

Scottrade (read our full review) clients have been begging for a mobile trading app for a long time. We have good news: the wait is over! Scottrade recently sent our team an iPod to test their brand new mobile trading app on and we were very impressed. Clean design, simple navigation, and a slew of tools are what investors can expect when they open the mobile trading app on their iPhone, Android, or Blackberry device.

This app is packed with features, most notably the research section. An extensive menu with an array of choices for the user, including a multi-level ETF area, are at the trader’s fingertips.

Our favorite portion of the new Scottrade Mobile Trading App is the advanced order tool. This option rich feature permits serious customization for advanced stock, ETF, or options orders. The ability to place trade conditions is a definite must and was clearly included in this piece of the app.

Overall, Scottrade clients no longer have to use only the mobile Scottrade website. With the Scottrade Mobile App, Scottrade clients have access to a feature rich environment wherever they are for successful trading on the go. The app is available for download in the respective app stores and we look forward to the iPad version’s launch later this year. Screenshots below.
